This desirable lantern clock is signed "Nicholis Coxeter at ye Loftbury Londini fecit." Nicholis Coxeter b. 1638, act. 1638-77, was apprenticed to John Peenock. It was not until 1660 that his workshop began to produce clocks in large numbers. |

Very Rare Walnut Chippendale Tall Case Clock |

Perhaps the most striking aspect of this clock is the ornate engraving found on the face. A profile of General James Wolfe sits over moon and stars, a rooster, tent encampments and fauna that surround the dial. The face is encased in an elegant walnut case with a finial, rosettes, a scalloped panel in the base and ogee feet. |

From the unusual Willistown cabinet maker Isaac Thomas, comes a tall case clock with exceptional features. Three flame and turned finials sit upon a sarcophagus top with a pierced fret. The brass 8-day movement is signed “Isaac Thomas, Willistown”. The is a bolection molding under the hood, an arched door, a molded base, bracket feet and a center drop. |

| A wonderfully inlaid tall case clock with a scroll top and turned finials, an inlaid Baltimore oriole flanked by vines and leaves. There is a painted dial with eight-day movement. The waist door has cantered inlaid corners with an inlaid door and eagle. There is continued inlay in the base with original French feet. |
