Tin-glazed earthenware plate with cobalt floral design at the center, and a band of blossoms and leaves around the edge. This plate has a recessed foot ring. This is a rare feature. An old piece of lined paper is inscribed (in ink): "This Plate came from Silas Hollen (?) Very valuble"
