Description: |

Tin-glazed earthenware plates with "Peacock" or "War Bonnet" pattern. Cobalt floral designs and mustard yellow edges. Each plate has the peacock feather pattern with vase at the center and a band of abstract lobed flowers with scrolls and leaves around the border. Each plate is pierced for hanging. One plate is marked: "200" at the back, and has some minor paint splatter and chipping around the edge and foot ring. The other plate may be marked "SJ". |
