This is an important dutch cupboard with several significant architectural features. The top has a bold cornice over duel glass 9-paned doors with blue paint in the interior flanked by rat-tail hinges and paneled sides with fluted corner columns. The top steps back over a broad base with molded shelf over three drawers over two raised panel doors separated by three drawers down the middle. The cupboard sits on bracket feet. Both the top and base are stamped "H. Ford". Ford was likely "Henry Ford". Archives from Toad Hall suggest there was a Henry Ford in the 1795 Tax List, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, "carpenter". He is also listed in the Tax List of 1800 in Cocalico Township, Lancaster, the 1800 Septennial Census and the Tax List of 1807 in Lebanon Township (then part of Dauphin County, now Lebanon County) s a carpenter.
