Walnut Chippendale Chest on Frame
Description:
An exceptional example of the chest on frame form with a very desirable old surface. A bold cornice rises over a three-over-five drawer arrangement, a mid-molding, nicely scalloped apron with cabriole legs terminating in trifid feet. The brass is original.
Materials and Techniques:
Walnut with brass pulls.
Condition:
Very good condition with minor lip damage to the molding around 4 of the drawers and the top left cornice. The chest retains a very desirable old surface.
